As the title implies the book deals with the vehicles of the famous marque which were designed and produced specifically for the armed forces, plus numerous militarised commercial models as used all over the world. With over 600 photographs hundreds of models are illustrated.
The type of Macks comprise just about every configuration, from 4 x 2 and 4 x 4 through 6- and 8-wheelers to half-tracks. Body-wise there are cargo and fire trucks, buses and wreckers, tank transporters and armoured vehicles.

The title speaks for itself. 272 pages covering from the ancestors of the Jeep, the history, technical features to the future. An unusual chapter is dealing with the problems of the French Army, when replacing the MB with what became the Hotchkiss M201. The M201 was the MB totally stripped and rebuild.
