The 109 S III stationcar was also used as a Commanders Caravan. The shown vehicle, used by a Brigade Commander, contained DA/VRQ-282 and DA/GRC-420 VHF-radios. The vehicle had an Eberspächer D4LS internal heater.
Replaced by Mercedes-Benz 240GD/28 in the early 1990´s.
